Super Summer Adventure

Here’s the opportunity for youth, ages 11-15 who enjoy outdoors, adventure and camping. This program promises to be a favorite memory of Summer 2011. This option is a good introduction to many of our outdoor activities. Each day you will try different adventure. They include Canoeing, Tree Top Trekking Adventure, Whitewater Tubing and Mountain Biking. Join us and your friends for 2 nights and 3 days of camping at Elora Gorge. As part of Summer Adventure you will hike on the Elora Water Falls which is sport and pleasure at the same time. Other activities may include playing beach volleyball, swimming, outdoor games, fishing and fire cooking there’s something here keep you entertained all day.

 


DAY 1: Horseshoe Resort Arbraska TreeTop Trekking

Live an unforgettable experience while crossing 70 innovative games at the tops of the trees in the majestic Horseshoe Valley Forest.


DAY 2: Tubing the Elora George

Tubing down the river is a fun and exciting way to see the wonders of Elora Gorge. From the white water action to the magnitude of the cliffs above, tubing offers more than just a refreshing ride on a hot sum.


DAY 3: Spencer Gorge/Webster Falls Conservation Area

This significant natural area contains two beautiful waterfalls: Webster's and Tews Falls. Webster's is a magnificent tiered waterfall and Tews, which towers at 41 metres, is only a few metres shorter than Niagara Falls. Both offer spectacular vistas of the gorge.


DAY 4 and 5: Sleepover in Albion Hills Campground

Albion Hills is set in the Caledon Hills on the banks of the Humber River. The 446-hectare park is the outdoor enthusiast’s dream! You can do it all at Albion Hills: Fish, Mountain Bike, Bird watch, Hike.
